The makers of Border 2, T-Series and JP Films, have unveiled their next song, Ishq Da Chehra, a soulful romantic melody that offers a glimpse into the emotional world of the film.

Ishq Da Chehra out

Rooted in love, longing, and quiet strength, the song beautifully shifts the lens from the battlefield to the hearts of the soldiers, presenting personal bonds that give them strength beyond the frontlines.

Through heart-warming montages, the track reveals tender, intimate moments shared by the characters with their partners, highlighting love as a powerful anchor amidst duty and sacrifice.

It is composed by the celebrated duo Sachet-Parampara, with heartfelt lyrics by Kausar Munir and sung by Diljit Dosanjh, Parampara Tandon, and Sachet Tandon.

Ishq Da Chehra weaves together the stories of Sunny Deol-Mona Singh, Varun Dhawan-Medha Rana, Diljit Dosanjh-Sonam Bajwa, and Ahan Shetty-Anyaa Singh. Each pairing reflects a different shade of love that is unconditional and resilient, adding emotional depth to the larger narrative of Border 2.

Border 2 is presented by Gulshan Kumar & T-Series, in association with J.P. Dutta’s J.P. Films. Backed by a powerful production team including Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, J.P. Dutta, and Nidhi Dutta, and directed by Anurag Singh.

Gear up for this monumental saga of patriotism and courage, as Border 2 storms into cinemas on January 23rd, 2026.

Border 2 remakes Sandese Aate Hai

The original track Sandese Aate Hain from the 1997 film Border remains one of Hindi cinema's most cherished patriotic songs, symbolising love for the country.

After touching millions of hearts, the iconic patriotic song returns in a new version as Ghar Kab Aaoge in Border 2, bringing the same emotion that made it timeless. Producer Nidhi Dutta called it a tribute to her father, JP Dutta, and Indian soldiers.

Nidhi Dutta said the song was originally created 29 years ago by her father JP Dutta, lyricist Javed Akhtar, composer Anu Malik, and singers Sonu Nigam and Roop Kumar Rathod.

She added that the new version does not attempt to alter the soul of the original song, "Today we have Re envisioned it... not to change something that's beyond perfect but to simply add more Stories of Our Soldiers & Their Families longing for them back home."

Highlighting the emotional continuity of the song, Dutta said, "Same Emotions, Lyrics that Echo The Heartache of New Characters but the Same Immortal Melody."
