On Monday, Rajkummar Rao took to his Instagram account to share a few pictures in which he is seen offering prayers at the Golden Temple. Dressed in a black shirt and jeans, with a headscarf, the actor was seen with folded hands. In his caption, he wrote, “Satnam Waheguru! Wahe Guruji Da Khalsa, Wahe Guruji de fateh.”

This picture of the Maalik actor comes after back-to-back success and pregnancy news. Rajkummar and Patralekhaa announced their pregnancy via a joint social media post on July 9. The couple took to Instagram to share the heartwarming news that they’re expecting their first child together with an adorable “Baby on the way" post. Rajkummar captioned the post simply, “Elated", summing up the joy of this special moment. For the unaware, the couple tied the know in 2021 in an intimate ceremony in Chandigarh.
In an interview with Hindustan Times, Rajkummar spoke about parenthood and said, “We are absolutely thrilled, to be honest. We feel like a lot of our friends, who are parents have been telling us that this is going to be the best phase of your life. So, we are looking forward to it. And, it's still sinking in.”

The actor recently starred in gangster drama Maalik which also had Manushi Chhillar alongside him. The actor got critical acclaim for his prolific act in the film. Up next, he will have another release with Toaster, co-starring Sanya Malhotra, which is set to stream directly on Netflix. Moreover, the actor has also confirmed to headline the Sourav Ganguly biopic. In an interview with NDTV, Rao said, “Now that Dada has already said it, let me also make it official - yes, I am playing him in his biopic."
