Farah Khan reveals how the industry ignored her husband Shirish Kunder: 'The world is full of..'

Reflecting on her marriage to Shirish Kunder, Farah claimed that the couple faced numerous obstacles in the early years due to their opposing personalities. She admitted that it was difficult at first since they would quarrel frequently when she forced him to accompany her.

Farah admitted that people used to neglect her spouse and focus solely on her since she was more successful, which made him feel uncomfortable.

“Not just the industry, the world is full of a*****, so they will always hone in on the person who is more successful at that point, so they will only talk to me and ignore my husband, and I didn’t like that, and he didn’t either. So after a point, we came to an agreement that if you are uncomfortable coming out with this set of people, then don’t come. I want him to be happy and at peace,” Farah said.

Farah went on to share why se keeps her personal life private, "We know we are secure in our marriage and we don’t need to hold hands on the red carpet. Sometimes, I feel that the more people are holding hands on the red carpet, something is brewing."

Farah and Shirish met in the early 2000s. He edited her directorial debut, Main Hoon Na. They have since collaborated on other films, including Jaan-E-Mann, Om Shanti Om, and Tees Maar Khan. They married in 2004, and welcomed triplets Diva, Anya, and Czar in 2008. Farah rarely posts photos of herself with Shirish and their children, preferring to keep her personal life private and out of the spotlight.

Happy New Year (2014) was Farah's last film as a director. She presented Celebrity MasterChef this year. Her YouTube channel, where she posts celebrity cooking videos alongside her cook Dileep, is popular with the audience.
