Docu-series celebrating Yash Chopra to debut across three cities
The Netflix docu-series, The Romantics, which is a tribute to the legacy of Yash Chopra, YRF, and their cultural impact on India in the past 50 years, will release on February 14, across three global cities, New York, Los Angeles and Mumbai. A source says, “In the run-up to the release, the film will be screened to cinephiles and notable Indians and Asians across the world. These three cities have been identified.”
Aamir Khan, Salman Khan, Shah Rukh Khan, Ranbir Kapoor, Amitabh Bachchan, Ranveer Singh, Rani Mukerji and Hrithik Roshan, among others, have spoken about Chopra’s legacy in the docu-series, directed by Oscar and Emmy-nominated filmmaker Smriti Mundhra, who returns to Netflix after the success of Indian Matchmaking and Never Have I Ever.
Interestingly, the reclusive head of YRF, Aditya Chopra, has also recorded his first on-camera interview for The Romantics.
