Jacqueline Fernandez and Sukesh Chandrasekhar

Did alleged millionaire conman Sukesh Chandrasekhar splurge gifts worth Rs 10 crore, including jewellery, crockery and pets, on Jacqueline Fernandez? One of the Persian cats he gave her is said to be worth Rs 9 lakh, and a horse for Rs 52 lakh. After their loved-up viral selfies, a list of presents given to her has been doing the rounds apparently based on the  Enforcement Directorate’s chargesheet in the money laundering case. The buzz is that Chandrasekhar and Fernandez got close early this year,  and after he got bail, he flew her to Chennai in a private plane. In August, the actor found herself embroiled in the case when she had to depose before the ED as a trail of transactions were allegedly linked to her. She was summoned again several times, which she skipped due to her professional commitments, finally appearing before the federal agency in October. As the actor continues to keep mum, there has been a great deal of chatter about her closeness to the accused. As for his choice of gifts, Fernandez is known to be a cat person and has several felines at home. Earlier this year, she undertook horse-riding classes, and shared her adventures on social media.
