According to reports, Disha Patani will be paired once again with Tiger Shroff in Mission Mangal director Jagan Shakti's next film

Five years after Baaghi 2, Tiger Shroff and Disha Patani are set to get back together on screen. The duo, who parted ways a few years ago, are reportedly set to collaborate on director Jagan Shakti’s upcoming action thriller. Incidentally, the yet-untitled film was launched last December, with Sara Ali Khan as Tiger’s leading lady. However, Sara had to opt out as she couldn’t match her dates with the action hero. Since Jagan’s film requires the leading lady to do some action too, Disha, who has acquired some martial arts skills, seems like a perfect fit for the role. The movie is backed by Vashu and Jackky Bhagnani, who recently had back-to-back duds in the Akshay Kumar-starrer Mission Raniganj, and Ganapath with Tiger.
Tabu teaming with terrific trio

Tabu is all set to collaborate with Sunny Deol once again after having done films, including Himmat (1996), Jaal (2003) and Khuda Kasam (2010) together. Rumours are rife that Rajkumar Santoshi is keen to cast Tabu opposite Sunny in his dream project, Jis Lahore Nai Dekhya. Based on Asghar Wajahat’s book Jis Lahore Nai Dekhya O Jamyai Nai, the period drama set around the partition, also features Karan Deol as Sunny’s onscreen son. If all goes well, this film would also reunite Tabu with Aamir Khan after Fanaa (2006). The perfectionist actor is producing the Santoshi-Sunny movie.
Picture abhi baaki hai!
In recent weeks, the teaser and trailer for Tiger 3 and the party song, Leke prabhu ka naam, have amplified the buzz around Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif’s upcoming Diwali offering. Even as speculation is rife about the storyline and the role of Shah Rukh Khan’s Pathaan in the narrative, director Maneesh Sharma says so far they have only given a glimpse of how Tiger’s story moves forward. “You haven’t seen even one per cent of what we have in store for you. We are saving the best and the most for the big screen,” he says. Asserting that the teaser and trailer are only to give an indication of what to expect, the director shares, “About 50 to 60 per cent of the film are action sequences of great scale. We want cinegoers to experience surprise and euphoria when they watch something they didn’t expect. When you have a film like Tiger 3, it is important that you keep building the anticipation.”
Déjà vu, Ranveer?
The first episode of Koffee with Karan season 8 is out, and everybody is talking about it. While some are praising Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh’s frankspeak with host Karan Johar, others are not too impressed. Some pointed out how Ranveer sounded repetitive about his first meeting with Deepika at Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s house for the narration of their first film together, Goliyon Ki Raasleela: Ram-Leela. Netizens claim that during an episode in an earlier season of the chat show, Ranveer similarly spoke about how he was impressed with Anushaka Sharma when he first saw her. He spoke about the huge doors, which opened, letting in a gush of wind, and how Anushka sauntered in. Fans wondered which script Ranveer was following for his episode with Deepika.
A psycho thriller for Akki next
Akshay Kumar continues to be on a roll. The actor, who started shooting a new film in London last week, is teaming up with Rohit Shetty again. We’re not talking about Singham Again, for which he already shot a week earlier this month. The new movie, to be helmed by Mohit Suri, is titled Psycho. Before you wonder, we believe it has nothing to do with Alfred Hitchcock’s 1960 cult classic with the same name. Apparently, when Rohit heard about the film, he loved it so much that he wanted it to be his first Hindi production with another director. The thriller also marks Akshay’s maiden collaboration with Mohit. The actor will be seen essaying a character he hasn’t attempted before. Mohit is planning to shoot Psycho in the first half of 2024.
Kriti in race for Don 3
Ever since news of Ranveer Singh coming on board for Farhan Akhtar’s Don 3 first appeared, there has been ample curiosity about who will be his leading lady. Initially, Kiara Advani was said to be in the reckoning when she was photographed after her meeting with producer Ritesh Sidhwani. In the interim, some reports indicated that Sobhita Dhulipala was being considered. As per recent talks, Kriti Sanon is the frontrunner to play Don’s lady love, Roma. She is one of the most sought-after leading ladies in B-Town today, more so after her National Award win for her performance in Mimi. Previously, Priyanka Chopra Jonas essayed the character of Roma in the Shah Rukh Khan-fronted franchise, while Zeenat Aman played the part opposite the original Don, Amitabh Bachchan.
