Alia Bhatt's love for Ranbir Kapoor has never been a secret, with the actress making candid confessions several times over the years. During the promotions of her debut film 'Student of the Year' (2012) Alia had said at an event, "I have always loved Ranbir and love him even more after Barfi. He is my biggest crush and will always remain my crush."

Karan Johar's chat show 'Koffee with Karan,' is a favourite when it comes to Bollywood stars revealing their secrets. It was in 2014, where Alia Bhatt and Parineeti Chopra featured on the show, that Alia spoke about her crush on Ranbir and her wish to marry him. At that time Ranbir was dating Katrina Kaif. During the rapid fire round, Alia had said she would like to go on a romantic date with Ranbir.

When the actress met Ranbir on the sets of Imtiaz Ali's 'Highway' she joked that she hadn't watched 'Besharam,' his film that had a dismal performance at the box office, because she loves him!

Buzz is the couple has zeroed in on the dates for the five-day wedding ceremony, keeping their work commitments in mind. Sources say the two will take the pheras in the wee hours of April 16 in an intimate ceremony to be held at the Kapoor bungalow in Chembur.
