On Tuesday night, Shah Rukh Khan offered prayers at Vaishnodevi ahead of Jawan's trailer launch

The nation is 'ready' for Shah Rukh Khan's mass actioner, Jawan. As the countdown has begun, the makers will be releasing the much-anticipated trailer at Burj Khalifa in Dubai on August 31. Ahead of the trailer launch, the superstar visited the Vaishnodevi shrine atop Trikuta hills in the Reasi district of Jammu and Kashmir. Shah Rukh's manager, Pooja Dadlani, shared a picture from Vaishnodevi on her Instagram story.
In a viral video, people noticed Shah Rukh dressed in a hooded blue jacket and his face fully covered. Officials of the Vaishno Devi shrine board, some policemen and his personal staff were accompanying him. An official told PTI, "The superstar reached base camp Katra on Tuesday evening and used the new Tarakote route to reach the shrine around 11.40 pm. He offered prayers and left immediately."

The superstar had visited Vaishnodevi in January before the release of his spy-thriller film, Pathaan. It marked his return to the silver screen after a break of 5 years. Shah Rukh was seen in Zero in 2018 before Pathaan. Jawan is his second release of the year.
Today, Shah Rukh and director Atlee will be at Sai Ram Engineering College for the first pre-release event of Jawan. The director confirmed the same with a post on Instagram. He wrote, "Excited to meet everyone. After 3 years #jawan pre release event tomm 3pm -7pm." The superstar also shared a tweet which read, "Vanakkam Chennai, I am coming!!! All the Jawans - girls & boys at Sai Ram Engineering College be ready... I am excited to meet you all! Might even do some tha tha thaiya if asked. See you tomorrow 3PM onwards."

Announcing the trailer launch, Shah Rukh had tweeted on August 28, "Jawan ka jashn main aapke saath na manau yeh ho nahin sakta. Aa raha hoon main Burj Khalifa on 31st August at 9 PM and celebrate JAWAN with me. And since love is the most beautiful feeling in the world, toh pyaar ke rang mein rang jao and lets wear red...what say? READYYYY!"

Jawan also stars Nayanthara, Vijay Sethupathi, Priyamani, Sanya Malhotra, Ridhi Dogra and Sunil Grover. Deepika Padukone is making a special appearance. Jawan is a Red Chillies Entertainment production directed by Atlee and co-produced by Gauri Khan and Gaurav Verma. The film will be released in theatres globally on September 7, 2023, in Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu.
