Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi - Movies Review

Was Taani myopic that she could not notice that Suri and Raj were one and the same? Viewers of the movie who had any such doubts, are not alone.

When Adi first related to Anushka Sharma the storyboard, the debutant too had the same question. But she was scared to ask Adi after all he was giving her a big break that too opposite Shah Rukh Khan!

The recently released two-disc DVD of the film has Anushka in conversation with SRK who waxes eloquent on everything related to the movie, including making the newbie reveal what she does not like about Adi that he talks too softly that half the time it was left for SRK to fill in the gaps.

Disc 1 has the movie along with the trailer of Yash Raj's next release, Kabir Khan's New York with John Abraham, Katrina Kaif and Neil Nitin Mukesh.

But what is of interest is the special features Disc 2 that includes the making of the film and songs, the trailers/promos and six deleted scenes which include Suri's dilemma with the TC when he first arrives with Taani at Amritsar station. But most importantly, it has SRK unplugged! When King Khan talks, you listen.

He wonders why Adi always makes him a romantic hero and never considers him for an action, rugged flick but then, as he says, Adi knows best.

What's missing from the DVD is the director and his commentary. But when it is Adi, you know what to expect an invisible director leaving everything to best buddy SRK to carry the film as well as the DVD on his shoulders.
