Ranveer Singh is making his way to the small screen as host of a visual-based quiz show, 'The Big Picture'. Colors has acquired the rights to adapt the international format for a desi version. In the 12-round contest with lifelines, a participant has to identify a succession of pictures that appear on a large screen and walk away with the grand prize money. “The proposition of introducing India to a ‘now’ generation quiz show sealed the deal for me,” says Singh. The studio-based game show also allows viewers at home to play along in real-time via an app.

“In my journey as an artiste, the urge to experiment and explore has been constant. Indian cinema has undeniably given me everything. It’s been a platform for me to excel and showcase my skills as an actor. I have been fortunate to get immense love from the people of India. Now, I look to connect with them in an extremely unique and engaging way through my television debut,” adds Singh. The Big Picture, which will also be available on Voot, will require an ‘exceptional amalgamation of knowledge and visual memory’.

Recently, Ranveer Singh surprised his fans with his unique fashion experiment. Ranveer uploaded three back-to-back pictures donning a shiny sky-blue tracksuit and a huge gold necklace around his neck. He wears his hair long and sports oversized tinted glasses for the photo-op that has been shot indoors.

On the work front, Ranveer Singh currently has Kabir Khan's 83. Ranveer will portray the role of then-captain Kapil Dev in the film, while Deepika will play Romi Bhatia. Ranveer also has Rohit Shetty's Cirkus, which is said to be an adaptation of the Shakespearean play The Comedy of Errors, also stars Pooja Hegde, Jacqueline Fernandez, Varun Sharma, Johny Lever, Sanjay Mishra, among others. Ranveer will also be collaborating with Shankar for the Hindi remake of Vikram-starrer Anniyan.
