Bollywood actress Tanushree Dutta has opened up about refusing to participate in Bigg Boss for a long time. She revealed that she has consistently turned down the reality show for over a decade despite lucrative offers as high as Rs 1.65 crores. In a candid interview, she explained that the show’s environment, which involves contestants sharing beds which is against her personal values.

In an interview with Bollywood Thikana, Tanushree shared, “I have been refusing to participate in Bigg Boss for the last 11 years. Every year, they chase me to join the show, and I scold them each time. I can’t live in such an environment. I don’t even stay with my family all the time; we all have our own space.”
Tanushree also revealed that she was offered a large sum to appear on the show but rejected it. “They offered me Rs 1.65 crore because they had given the same amount to another Bollywood celebrity of my level. A stylist from the Bigg Boss management even said they could offer me more money, but I refused,” she added.

She went on to say, “Even if they offer me the moon, I won’t go. Men and women sleeping on the same bed and fighting in the same space—I just can’t do that. I am also very particular about my diet. How can they think I would sleep with a guy on the same bed for a reality show? I am not so cheap, no matter how many crores they offer.”

Actress Tanushree Dutta has said that she is being harassed inside her own house. On Tuesday, and shared a video in which she can be seen weeping and asking for help. She wrote in the caption, “I'm sick and tired of this harassment!! It's been going on since 2018 MeToo Aaj fed up hokar maine police ko call kiya (I got fed up and called the cops). Please someone help me. Do something before it's too late”.
In 2008, the actress had accused veteran actor Nana Patekar of sexually harassing her on the set of the film Horn Ok Please. In September 2018, she publicly recounted the incident, which gained significant attention and sparked a broader conversation about sexual harassment in the Indian entertainment industry.
