About Tere Ishk Mein
Directed by Aanand L. Rai and written by Himanshu Sharma and Neeraj Yadav, the film is an A.R. Rahman musical with lyrics by Irshad Kamil. Starring Dhanush and Kriti Sanon, the trailer dives deeper into the raw, emotional and unpredictable world of Shankar and Mukti, a love story that pushes against reason, time and destiny.
This also marks Kriti’s first release of 2025. Speaking about her experience working with Dhanush, Kriti says, “I think Dhanush is an incredible actor. I have always admired his talent and craft. He is very nuanced, has directed several films, and comes with a deep understanding of scenes and how they translate on screen. He brings many layers to his characters, and I was very excited to work with him. I knew I’d have an actor I could feed off—and that’s exactly what happened. We hadn’t met before, and even Shankar and Mukti in the film hadn’t met at one point, so that worked out perfectly.”
Adding further about their on-screen dynamic and the process of creating powerful performances, she continues, “We have some really intense scenes, a lot of really long scenes that can, you know, translate when both of us feed off each other."
