Sources say Kriti approached to join Tabu, Kareena for Rhea’s next revolving around three women

Last month, Kareena Kapoor Khan confirmed to mid-day that she was set to reunite with her Veere Di Wedding producer Rhea Kapoor for a story about three strong women (She has roped in actors of the decade, Aug 19). 


While Tabu is rumoured to have joined the cast of the Rajesh Krishnan-directed venture, now one hears that Kriti Sanon has been approached to complete the triumvirate. Sanon was to start her next, an unusual love story featuring Shahid Kapoor and to be produced by Dinesh Vijan, in early 2023. A source reveals, “But now, the film and its budget are being reworked.

Meanwhile, Kriti has been offered this women-centric film. Working alongside talented actors like Tabu and Kareena is a big draw, as is her powerful role. The dates are being worked out, and she has yet to sign on the dotted line. If things work out, she will start shooting with the team in January 2023, following which she will move on to her actioner with Anurag Kashyap.” mid-day reached out to Rhea who didn’t respond until press time.
