Bollywood actress-turned-author Twinkle Khanna has once again grabbed eyeballs for her latest remarks on affairs and relationships. During the recent episode of her show Too Much with Kajol, the actress was seen talking to the guests Farah Khan and Ananya Panday when she stated that older people hide their affairs very well. Besides, she also praised the younger generation for approaching relationships differently without carrying emotional baggage.

Twinkle Khanna says older people are better at hiding affairs

During one of the segments on the show, the hosts and guests were asked whether they agreed or disagreed with statements. One of the statements was, "Older people are better at hiding their affairs than younger people". While Farah, Ananya and Twinkle agreed, Kajol didn't seem to agree. Twinkle then said, "Older people are much better, lots of practice."

However, Kajol did not seem convinced and said, "I feel younger people are much better at hiding everything about their lives, affairs." Ananya went on to add, "Because of social media, everything comes out anyway."

They then discussed another statement, "Today’s kids change their partners faster than they change outfits." Twinkle agreed and explained, "It’s a good thing because in our time, it was like, ‘What will people say? We can’t do this.’ They are changing their partners quickly, and I think it’s a good thing. It’s much easier for them because they have no baggage. They are like, ‘This is not working. Let’s move on quickly'."

When Kajol and Twinkle faced backlash over their cheating comment

Interestingly, earlier in one of the episodes, when Karan Johar and Janhvi Kapoor appeared as guests, they were seen debating about the question, 'Is emotional infidelity worse than physical infidelity?'

Karan, Twinkle, and Kajol agreed that emotional betrayal cuts deeper; however, Janhvi disagreed, stating that both kinds of cheating are equally wrong. Twinkle responded playfully, saying, "Physical cheating is like raat gayi, baat gayi." Karan added, "I believe physical infidelity is not a deal breaker.”

Nevertheless, Janhvi continued to object, saying, "Nahi, nahi. Baat nahi jaati hai." Surprised by her reaction, Twinkle teased her, saying, "You're young."

After the episode streamed online, many criticised Kajol, Karan and Twinkle for their stance.
