Natasha Dalal, who is a designer, styled herself. She shunned the bridal reds and pinks for an off-white lehenga with gold and silver embellishments. Her kaliras were in silver too. Varun colour coordinated in a Manish Malhotra creation at the after-party.
Band of buddies
Varun Dhawan’s buddies, including Zoa Morani, wore T-shirts with his screen character names written on them. From Team Raghu (Badlapur) to Team Seenu (Main Tera Hero), they celebrated his films.
Proud moment
Karan Johar felt like a “proud parent” at Varun Dhawan’s wedding. He penned a note recalling when he had first seen him as a kid in Goa. “Long hair, big dreams in his eyes and a swag that was waiting to explode on celluloid.” Manish Malhotra reminisced that he had attended Varun’s parents, David and Lali’s wedding. “I have seen you grow up and styled you in your first film,” the designer posted. Filmmaker Kunal Kohli was also part of the celebrations. He is Dhawan’s cousin — their mothers are sisters.
Yellow, not mellow
A day after his wedding, Varun Dhawan shared a glimpse of the haldi ceremony.
