If fans spent Friday (January 9) talking about Shahid Kapoor’s first look from O’Romeo, director Vishal Bhardwaj has planned to give the audience a lot more to dive into today. Almost a month away from the film’s release, the makers are set to introduce the film’s first video asset, which will be a step into the world of the action thriller.
Sources tell mid-day that the visuals will be a peek into the film’s mood and aesthetics. “Vishal is known to construct a world that has its own vibe and charm. O’Romeo carries the same transportive quality.

On the surface, it’s an action thriller, but like every Vishal Bhardwaj film, there are layered emotions, motives and conflicts in O’Romeo. It’s not a typical teaser but a glimpse of the world-building that the director and his team worked on for months,” says a source.
Around two-minutes long, the video will also offer a look at the rest of the star cast, including Triptii Dimri, and Avinash Tiwary from the film produced by Sajid Nadiadwala. “O’Romeo has one of the strongest ensemble casts in a Bollywood film in recent times. Not just Shahid, all the actors in the film will be seen in looks and characters they have never attempted before. There will be glimpses of some of them in the first asset, which will also feature a cool background score,” shares another insider.
