Born on September 30, 1967, Deepti Bhatnagar hails from Meerut, Uttar Pradesh. Deepti studied at Meerut University, after completing her early education from Delhi. At age 25, Deepti moved to Mumbai to promote her handicrafts factory in Meerut. Little did she know that she will be offered a modelling assignment for 'Roopmilan Sarees'. Soon, Deepti Bhatnagar's hands were full with a dozen more campaigns. Needless to say, she gave up her interest in handicrafts upon receiving multiple modelling projects.
Deepti Bhatnagar took up modelling as a profession after coming to Mumbai. But before that, in 1990, she had already tasted success in the glam world after being crowned Eves Weekly's Miss India contest.

In 1995, Deepti Bhatnagar made her debut in the Hindi film industry with the Jackie Shroff, Manisha Koirala and Aditya Pancholi-starrer Ram Shastra.

In the consecutive year, Deepti Bhatnagar tried her hand at the Telugu film industry. In 1996, she starred in Pelli Sandali, that starred Srikanth and Ravali along with Deepti Bhatnagar.

While Deepti Bhatnagar's Bollywood debut flopped at the Box Office, her Telugu film turned out to be a major blockbuster. It was also remade in Hindi as Mere Sapno Ki Rani, which starred Sanjay Kapoor, Urmila Matondkar and Madhu.

Deepti Bhatnagar went on to star in films such as Mithun Chakraborty's Kaalia, Sunny Deol-Suniel Shetty-starrer Qahar, Suniel Shetty-Saif Ali Khan-starrer Humse Badhkar Kaun, Dulhan Banoo Main Teri opposite Faraz Khan. Unfortunately, Deepti Bhatnagar could not make a mark in Bollywood.

Meanwhile, on the personal front, Deepti Bhatnagar married model-actor Randeep Arya in 1997. Randeep Arya is the son of late Punjabi actor Veerendra, cousin of legendary actor Dharmendra. Sunny Deol, Bobby Deol, Abhay Deol are Deepti's brothers-in-law, while Esha Deol is her sister-in-law.

Deepti Bhatnagar and Randeep Arya have two sons, Shubh (born in 2003) and Shiv (born in 2009).

Coming back to the work front, though Deepti Bhatnagar couldn't establish her name as a Bollywood actress, she rose to fame with the travel show Musafir Hoon Yaaron and later, a religious travel show called Yatra.
Deepti Bhatnagar gained a huge fan following after her television stint.

Deepti Bhatnagar loves travelling and her Instagram account is filled with her travel diaries. And perhaps, that was one of the reasons why Deepti's travel show became a huge hit! The actress clearly seemed to be enjoying her work.
