Amid the ongoing Adipurush controversy, Kriti Sanon and filmmakers stepped up to defend the film at the film’s screening in Delhi. Kriti applauded the filmmakers of the film and appreciated director Om Raut’s vision. Defending the film, the actress stated that the film is made with a modern vision keeping the current generation in mind. The mythological drama has sparked a fresh debate in India with a section of the audience criticising its VFX and dialogues. Helmed by Om Raut, and Produced by Bhushan Kumar, the film is based on the Hindu epic Ramayana and features Prabhas, Kriti Sanon, and Saif Ali Khan.
