The fans of music legend Eric Clapton are in for a disappointment as the singer-guitarist has ruled out another 'Cream' reunion.

Clapton had reunited with Ginger Baker and Jack Bruce for gigs in London and New York in 2005 but he says another such get-together is not going to happen, insisting that the trio parted amicably.

"I think I was clear that I don't think we need to go there again... I think we've gone as far as we could with that," Clapton told Rolling Stone magazine.

The comment may disappoint his former bandmate Bruce, who had earlier expressed that the trio had a chance to come together again. "I think there might be a chance of some more (gigs).

I would like to do some more, cause I enjoyed it. It was very emotional. I would like another shot at it," Bruce had told Billboard.com.
