American actor Lee Thompson Young, best known for playing the titular character in Disney Channel series 'The Famous Jett Jackson', was found dead with a 'self-inflicted gunshot wound'
He was found by the police inside his Los Angeles home early Monday morning. He was 29.
According to reports, police have confirmed Young’s death.
A dispatch had been sent to Young’s house on a welfare check after he did not make an appearance for work on the set of ‘Rizzoli and Isles.’
Young has been playing Det. Barry Frost on the TNT’s buddy-cop series since 2010.
Authorities discovered his body after entering his house; he was pronounced dead on the scene, reported a channel.
It is believed that Young died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound.
