London: Songstress Jennifer Lopez thinks her curvy figure helped to break "the mould" for female actresses looking for a lead role in a movie.

The 46-year-old star, who has played the lead role in movies such as 'Maid in Manhattan', 'The Wedding Planner' and 'Parker',- said her fuller figure has helped to empower other women in the film industry with similar figures, reported Female First.
"In traditional movies, that wasn't the figure unless you were playing, like, the femme fatale or the bombshell or something like that. You couldn't be the serious lead. We kind of broke that mould," she said.
