Joan Jett pointers for Kristen Stewart

Preparing to can her scenes for her forthcoming film, The Runaways, Kristen Stewart was joined by Joan Jett on the sets Wednesday (July 8).

Dressed up in a white tee and jeans, the Twilight hottie was filming her portrayal of the rocker in the new biopic flick while getting a few pointers along the way. The buzz is, Kristen was given a pair of Joan's old shoes as part of her costume.



An insider telling press: "Joan actually used to wear them back in the 70s. She thought wearing them would help with the movie's authenticity."

Talking about playing Jett, Kristen said, "I'm trying to just make myself aware of the time period and what she was going through. So many people know her as just being like one of the coolest people to ever live. That in itself is one of the most intimidating things that I've ever had to confront but she's so cool too."
