Leonardo DiCaprio attended an annual gala for Haiti Takes Root, a 10-year long initiative dedicated towards reforestation and development of the Caribbean country, along with his actor-friend Sean Penn.

The Oscar-winning actor turned up to support Penn, who founded the non-profit that organised the event. "Haiti was devastated by Hurricane Matthew. I watched from another country as news organisations said no one is doing anything for these people," Penn said.
The actor’s friends, including Naomi Campbell, Ellie Goulding, and Donna Karan, were also in attendance at the gala.
