Matt Damon to join sci-fi movie Elysium?

Actor Matt Damon is reportedly in talks to join the cast of Neill Blomkamp's upcoming sci-fi drama "Elysium".

Contactmusic.com reports, the "Invictus" star's role in the movie has not yet been confirmed, Matt and his management team are said to be in the first stage of discussions about whether a role in the drama would work out for him.

Plot details for the movie are currently being kept under wraps, but it is believed the sci-fi action will take place on a distant planet in the distant future.
