Los Angeles: Actress Megan Mullally is set to star opposite Bryan Cranston and James Franco in comedy 'Why Him'.
Fox Studio has roped in Mullally, 57, to portray the wife of Cranston's character, reported Variety.
John Hamburg is directing from a script he co-wrote with Ian Helfer.
The story revolves around a down-to-earth Midwestern father who takes his family to visit his daughter, who is attending Stanford, at Christmas and subsequently gets into a competition with his daughter's boyfriend, a young Internet billionaire played by Franco.
