While she does not name names, it is speculated that the 19-year-old singer is either talking about Taylor Lautner or Nick Jonas.
According to Cosmopolitan Magazine, Gomez, who is currently agog over current boyfriend Justin Bieber, said that she detested having to sneak around and keep the relationship a secret from the press.
"I was in a relationship previously where I had to hide everything and it wasn't my choice," the New York Post quoted Gomez as telling the publication.

"I had to go through different exits and take separate cars and do the craziest things, and it just really wasn't worth it. "It was like a year of my life completely wasted," she added.
