Country star Taylor Swift spent Thanksgiving with actor Jake Gyllenhaal's family before the couple headed to meet her parents in Nashville.
The 'Love Story' singer cancelled Thanksgiving plans with her parents to be with the 29-year-old actor's relatives on Thursday before meeting her family, Contactmusic reported. "Jake invited her to New York for Thanksgiving. It wasn't planned in advance, but she said, 'Why not? I can do it, and I'm going.'
She explained to her parents that she gets to see them all the time and wasn't able to spend much time with Jake during the publicity madness," said a source. The 20-year-old singer helped in cooking and household chores while dining with the 'Brokeback Mountain' star's family.
"There was no diva behaviour. She pitched in to cook and to clear the dishes. She also seemed very interested in the family and asked them a lot of questions about themselves," the source added. The couple was first rumoured to be in a relationship after they were spotted holding hands during a stroll around New York in October
