Two Avatar sequels

After the massive success of 2009's Avatar (which grossed $2.8 billion at the box office worldwide), director James Cameron is hard at work on scripts for two sequels, the first of which will hit theaters in 2014.



And like the original movie, both films will be shot in 3-D. "I'm looking forward to returning to Pandora, a world where our imaginations can run wild," Cameron, 56, said in a statement.
