Rapper Tyga has reportedly paid off a USD 200k jewellery debt after being slapped with a new lawsuit. According to TMZ, Tyga also completed a $100k payment to the jeweller to the stars, Jason of Beverly Hills, after he won a judgment against him.
Reportedly, Jason's lawyers had intended to make girlfriend Kylie Jenner reveal her financial details as part of their debtor's exam before the outstanding payment for a watch and chain bought in 2013 was resolved. But, the rapper swooped in to save her from the grilling.
Tyga was served with legal papers just a day before he turned 27 on Friday, when he was celebrating at a nightclub in West Hollywood. A process server came in and handed the papers to him, but was then reportedly forcibly removed from the venue.
The reason behind him being served is unclear but he has had a string of financial battles last year.
