Shia LaBeouf and Carey Mulligan's on-and-off-screen couple romance helped bring their new Oliver Stone-directed movie, Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps, to the top of the box office this weekend.

The sequel to 1987's Wallstreet, which also starred Michael Douglas, brought in $19 million while the animated flick Legend of the Guardians: The Owls of Ga'Hoole raked in $16.3 million. Ben Affleck's The Town earned another $16 million while Emma Stone's teen comedy Easy A also brought in another healthy $10.7 million. The comedy You Again co-starring Kristen Bell, Jamie Lee Curtis and Sigourney Weaver, debuted at No. 5 with $8.3 million.
