Tom Cruise and Ana de Armas startled fans and the press when they announced their love in early 2025. According to Us Weekly, their relationship is still fresh and low-key, but there are already some apparent differences. Like Vanessa Trump's previous connection with Tiger Woods, de Armas dislikes public attention, which is rare for someone engaged with one of Hollywood's most well-known personalities.
In addition to being in the media spotlight, there were reports that the 26-year age difference has exacerbated De Armas' uncertainty about their future together.
The couple was photographed exhibiting some PDA while on a Vermont vacation on Saturday, July 26, five months after sparking romance rumours.
Cruise, 63, donned dark blue from head to toe, including a fitting tee, pants, and baseball cap, while holding the From the World of John Wick: Ballerina star's hand. The actor from Top Gun also sported dark shades and white sneakers.
De Armas, who owns a home in Vermont, dressed similarly casually in a white tee and black flared trousers. The 37-year-old actress styled her hair in a ponytail with black-and-white sneakers.
When the rumours of their relationship began
The Mission: Impossible star and the Oscar-nominated actress first fueled dating rumours in February when they were pictured together on a night out in London.
When de Armas and Cruise were first sighted together, a source told PEOPLE that they were having dinner with their agents "discussing potential collaborations down the line" and that the stars "appeared to have no romantic connection, just friends."
They were spotted together multiple times in the following weeks, notably as they departed David Beckham's 50th birthday celebration in London on May 3 and on a park walk in the UK capital on de Armas' 37th birthday a few days before.
The pair's summer activities have included a voyage onboard a boat in Spain and, most recently, an Oasis concert at London's Wembley Stadium over the weekend.
Cruise and de Armas were spotted watching the band perform together in the backdrop of an Instagram video posted by English producer and DJ Goldie from the gig. Goldie, 59, also posted a selfie he had with Cruise at the show.
In May, de Armas announced that she was working on numerous projects with Cruise, one of which has been confirmed as the upcoming Doug Liman-directed eerie ocean thriller Deeper.

Cruise has previously married Mimi Rogers, Nicole Kidman, and Katie Holmes, and has three children: daughter Isabella, 32, and son Connor, 30, with Kidman, 58, and 19-year-old daughter Suri with Holmes, 46.
De Armas was recently linked to Manuel Anido Cuesta, stepson of Cuban President Miguel Díaz-Canel Bermúdez. The Knives Out actress previously dated Tinder's executive Paul Boukadakis.
Prior to that, de Armas was in a relationship with her Deep Water co-star Ben Affleck from March 2020 until their "completely amicable" divorce in January 2021, according to PEOPLE.
