BTS Jungkook went live today to celebrate the release of his album 'GOLDEN.' BTS member Jungkook's first solo album Golden dropped this morning, after much anticipation. The album has 11 tracks, all in English, and is all set to cement Jungkook's spot as one of the top pop superstars in the world. The title song from the album, Standing Next To You, was unveiled on Friday morning. The video appears to pay a subtle tribute to King of Pop Michael Jackson.

In the music video, Jungkook is dressed in an MJ-esque military jacket with metallic embellishments and tassels as he pulls off some of the late pop legend’s signature dance moves, like the iconic crotch grab. In other shots, the K-pop star is seen modelling a giant pair of black angel wings.

Now Jungkook went live to celebrate the release of 'GOLDEN'. The BTS member was seen talking about many topics including the relief he feels now that the album is out. Loosely translated by a fanpage, he says, "The "Golden" album is out, so a lot of other things will come out. I pre-recorded as well. Please look forward to it. Once again, thank you for waiting for the album and showing me support and love. I'm always thankful! Because the album came out, it feels like such a relief. Guys, don’t forget that I can't sing without you or do promos or go on the radio. There's nothing I can do, So I should be more thankful."

While Jungkook was baring his soul to ARMYs, a twist occurred! Kim Taehyung aka V joined the Weverse live to announce that he and Jimin were actually on their way to reach his house. Upon hearing this, ARMYs could not control their glee. Taehyung and Jimin looked absolutely thrilled to be going on this adventure to Jungkook's residence. Some even thought that Jimin looked stressed while V looked relaxed.

On the work front, Jungkook has become the first act to chart seven songs simultaneously on the iTunes US top 10 this year. Golden has also become the fastest album in history to sell a million copies by a soloist in Hanteo. The album was already breaking records before it was out. Just this week, 'Seven' became the fastest song to reach 1 billion streams in Spotify history.
