With his few glimpses from the upcoming TYPE photobook, BTS member V appears to be taking things in an unexpected direction. The pictures that the K-pop singer has so far made public don't resemble Kim Taehyung at all. In fact, his hardly recognizable gaze has left fans stunned by the clicks. Along with his comrades Jin, J-Hope, Suga, RM, Jimin, and Jungkook, V had a fun-filled birthday on December 30. V has also been on the sidelines, experimenting with many fresh ideas for the photobook. Additionally, ARMYs have determined with ease that the clicks project V in an ostentatious and daring avatar.

BTS V's new photobook

Every picture shows Taehyung acting extravagantly. This 30-year-old has a completely different appearance than we have ever seen, complete with smudgy lipstick, colored lenses, blue makeup, and even spiked hair.

Following V's 2024 debut TYPE 1, TYPE is a 278-page hardcover that explores fluidity and defies categorization in 20 chapters that he helped plan and photograph. Pre-orders were available on Weverse Shop and other websites starting on December 31, 2025, and they cost between 40 and 50 Dollars. Global shipment will start on January 19. There will also be some previously unreleased images in the photobook. Additionally, HYBE announced the immersive ON-SITE IN SEOUL exhibition, which would feature media art related to the book's topics from January 20 to February 1.

ARMY reacts to the preview

ARMYs reacted erratically. "The world of cinema is waiting for you, Kim Taehyung, and we're already making the popcorn," a fan commented on X (previously Twitter). You communicate by touching your heart and speaking without opening your mouth. "Kim Taehyung V's eyes always tell us so much," another person remarked. I'm eager to see what more he has planned for this new endeavor.

"Taehyung is slowly unleashing his potential inside," an admirer wrote. He's definitely someone to keep an eye on." Another said, "Wow for hot bod. But even bigger wow for his mind blowing acting on that small concept video. I’m still feeling emotional watching the range of emotions of sorrow and melancholy in his face. Damn Tae is one of a kind."

V is still the most well-known K-pop idol in the world, and their influence is growing daily. V is only going to add more features to his headgear in the upcoming year as fans anticipate BTS's major comeback with a new album and a world tour in 2026.
