Hyderabad: Akhil Akkineni, younger son of Telugu megastar Nagarjuna, will get engaged to city-based designer Shriya Bhupal here on December 9, according to a reliable source.

"The families have decided to get them engaged on December 9. The marriage, however, will take place next year and they haven't yet finalized the dates," the source told IANS.

Akhil and Shriya have known each other for many years and they are tying the knot with the consent of their families.

Meanwhile, the source added that there's no clarity about the marriage of Naga Chaitanya, the elder son of Nagarjuna.

"Chaitanya and actress Samantha Ruth Prabhu have been seeing each other for a while. Nagarjuna sir has allowed them to decide for themselves when they want to get married. He's expected to make an official announcement soon," he said.
