Veteran Kannada actress BV Radha passed away of a heart attack in Bengaluru on Sunday. She was 70.
BV Radha has worked in several Kannada, Tamil and Telugu language films. She was the wife of the late Kannada director KSL Swamee who died last year.
The legendary actress had battled cancer some years ago.
According to a report in Bangalore Mirror, BV Radha's body will be donated to a medical college.
BV Radha made her debut in 1964 in the Kannada film 'Navakoti Narayana' with Rajkumar. She worked with many top stars from the South film industry including NT Rama Rao, Shivaji Ganeshan and Akkineni Nageshwar Rao, among others.
