Megastar Chiranjeevi’s much-anticipated socio-fantasy entertainer Vishwambhara is currently in the final stages of post-production. Touted to be a visual extravaganza, the film boasts an unprecedented number of VFX shots, raising the bar for Indian cinema and promising an immersive cinematic experience like never before.

Chiranjeevi's film to have world-class visuals

A collaboration of top-tier VFX studios from Tollywood, Bollywood, and even Hollywood is powering the film’s post-production. These teams are working with meticulous attention to detail, aiming to deliver world-class visual effects that match global standards. Industry insiders close to the project describe Vishwambhara as a magnum opus in the making, one that will be well worth the wait.

Director Vassishta, who impressed audiences and critics alike with his debut film Bimbisara, also known for its strong visual effects, is crafting Vishwambhara as his dream project. Backed by the renowned UV Creations, the film is being mounted on a grand scale, with no compromise on quality or creativity. The producers are reportedly sparing no expense to ensure Vassishta’s vision is fully realized.

Interestingly, when Vishwambhara teaser was released last year, it received a lot of criticism for poor VFX. Many fans and netizens came down heavily on the makers for their inability to bring out quality VFX. The makers decided to go back and rework on the teaser.

Post-production work is nearing completion, and the team, including Chiranjeevi himself, is reportedly thrilled with the progress. The makers are expected to announce the release date soon.

Meanwhile, a fresh wave of promotional activities is set to begin shortly, building anticipation for what promises to be one of the most visually captivating films in Indian cinema.

Mouni Roy joins Vishwambhara

As per a report by the Great Andhra website, Mouni Roy has been roped in for a special dance number in Chiranjeevi’s long-delayed Telugu film Vishwambhara. The film has been in the making for three years now.

The music score has been composed by National Award winner MM Keeravani, known for his musical scores in films like the Baahubali franchise, RRR, Zakhm, Jism, and Paheli, among others. The shoot is scheduled to begin in June 2025, and it is quite interesting to see how the diva’s presence in the movie spices things up.
