Actor Mahesh Babu is one of the most loved actors in Telugu cinema. The actor is currently looking forward to the release of his next film, Trivikram Srinivas’ 'Guntur Kaaram.' Mahesh Babu is currently busy promoting Guntur Kaaram movie, and during one of these pre-release events, he got emotional. The actor attended an event on Tuesday with the cast and crew of the film, and during the event, the superstar became emotional while remembering his late father, actor Krishna.

At the event, he shared that he didn't realize that it has been 25 years since he has been in the industry. He said, “Nothing will match the love I have gotten from you (fans) throughout these years.” He further added, “The love has only increased as the years went by. I am at a loss for words. I always feel like I can do nothing but bow my head and join my hands in respect.” In a cinematic moment, the fans immediately joined their hands in respect for the star too.

Further, while remembering that he and his father always had hits for Sankranti, an emotional Mahesh Babu said, “It feels odd this year because he’s not here. I used to look forward to his call every year, I used to wait to get his honest feedback. But he’s not here, so I’ll look to my fans for that love instead." Further, he added, “From now on, you are my mother, you are my father, you are my everything.”

Later, on Wednesday, the actor and his wife Namrata Shirodkar also penned an emotional note on their account. Taking to his Instagram account, Mahesh Babu said, “Thank you, Guntur! Celebrating the film in my hometown surrounded by so much love, is a timeless memory that I will hold close to my heart. Love you all, my superfans and I look forward to seeing you again...very soon!! Sankranthi begins now!! A special mention to the Guntur police for all their support and assistance throughout the event."

For the unversed, the Guntur Kaaram movie will hit screens on January 12.
