Sharing the poster, Maruthi wrote, “23 years back he took his first step into cinema. Today, he wraps his journey in TheRajaSaab on the same day.”

He further added, “Blessed and fortunate to be part of his victorious journey. Super sure The RajaSaab will be a completely different energy altogether. We know the love and impatience — and we promise to deliver nothing but the absolute best. More celebrating days ahead for our Rebel God devotees.”

Release date update

Prabhas’s much-awaited film The RajaSaab has been creating immense buzz, with fans eager to see the Rebel Star in a new avatar. Amid the anticipation, a few reports recently suggested that the film’s release might be postponed once again. However, the makers have now issued a statement dismissing these rumours.

People Media Factory, the production house backing The RajaSaab, clarified that the film will release worldwide on January 9, 2026, coinciding with Sankranthi.

Their statement read, “In recent days, fake rumours surfaced on social media claiming that the film’s release had been postponed once again. The makers have categorically clarified that The RajaSaab will hit theatres exactly as announced on January 9, 2026, without any delay.”

They also shared production updates, saying, “VFX and other post-production works are progressing at a brisk pace. The team is preparing extensive release plans across all languages, including IMAX and other premium formats, to deliver a spectacular big-screen experience. A grand pre-release event is scheduled in the U.S. in December, and the first copy of the film is expected to be ready by December 25. With these preparations, The RajaSaab aims to elevate the festive spirit of Sankranthi to the next level. Director Maruthi is crafting one of Tollywood’s most prestigious projects, while producer T.G. Vishwa Prasad is mounting it on a grand scale with uncompromised production values.”

Notably, the film was initially scheduled for a worldwide release on December 5, 2025, but was later postponed to January 9, 2026. The film will now clash with Thalapathy Vijay's farewell film Jana Nayagan.
