Ravi Mohan & Aarti Ravi
Days after singer Kenishaa Francis issued a legal statement after being targeted for Ravi Mohan's divorce decision, the actor too has taken a legal route. Ravi Mohan has served a legal notice to his estranged wife Aarti Ravi and mother-in-law Sujatha Vijaykumar. The notice came after the duo's multiple defamatory posts against him, which include accusing him of cheating in the marriage.

Ravi posted on Instagram that he has filed a civil case against Aarti and Sujatha in the Madras High Court. He is asking for compensation and a court order to stop certain actions. The legal notice demands Aarti and Sujatha delete all the defamatory posts made against him from their profiles or any other social media platforms, including but not limited to X (Twitter), Facebook, Telegram, Instagram, and WhatsApp, particularly those tagging Ravi’s name.
Singer Keneeshaa Francis recently opened up about the death threats and abusive messages she has been receiving amid actor Ravi Mohan's ongoing divorce from Aarti Ravi. Kenishaa, who is rumoured to be dating Ravi after the two made a public appearance together at a wedding, took legal action in response to the harassment.

Keneeshaa Francis issues legal statement
Earlier this week, Kenishaa issued a legal statement addressing the threats and defamatory content. The statement, spanning nine points across three pages, noted that she had become an "unwanted focal point of a concerted and intensifying pattern of public speculation, digital speculation, and online assault."
According to the statement, the fabricated association with Ravi Mohan has led to an “orchestrated and escalating campaign of digital defamation,” involving defamatory publications, unauthorized use of her name and image, circulation of manipulated or sexually suggestive images, and the republication of false and offensive statements.
About Ravi Mohan and Aarti’s divorce
Amid ongoing tensions, the couple appeared before the Chennai Family Court on May 21 and filed individual petitions for divorce. At the hearing, Ravi Mohan reiterated his intention to proceed with the divorce, while Aarti demanded Rs 40 lakh as monthly alimony. Ravi also urged the court to reject Aarti’s plea for cohabitation.
The court adjourned the matter until June 12 and asked both parties to reconsider their pleas. Earlier, when Ravi Mohan initially filed for divorce, the court directed them to attend counselling sessions, which they have been complying with as per court orders.
