Film re-releases seem to be attracting major audience to the theatres. While several films have been re-released in theatres in the past year, the love poured on them has only encouraged theatre owners to release old classics. Today, Prabhas's Telugu film 'Yogi' was re-released in theatres in 4K.

On Friday, after the re-release of the film Yogi on the big screens, videos of audiences cheering for the film made its way to social media. People were seen dancing enthusiastically in front of the screen in some videos and in some they were seen celebrating by throwing confetti. A video also showed audience using cold pyro guns to celebrate the occasion.

'Yogi' was released in 2007 and is an action drama directed by V. V. Vinayak, starring Prabhas and Nayanthara. It also features Ali, Subbaraju, Pradeep Rawat, Sharada and Kota Srinivasa Rao in the supporting roles. This film is a remake of the 2005 Kannada blockbuster film Jogi by Prem. The film released on 12 January 2007 in 225 theatres and was Flop at the box office. Yogi managed to gross Rs 13.12 crore in its opening week. But the film finally ended up as a commercial failure.

On the work front, Prabhas became a pan-India star with the success of 'Baahubali 1 and 2'. The actor played the titular role and the son of the protagonist. The SS Rajamouli-directorial broke all records at the box office in all languages establishing the actor as a pan-India superstar. He was last seen in the film 'Adipurush' and will next be seen in 'Kalki AD2898'. The sci-fi film directed by Nag Ashwin will be released in theatres on January 12, 2024. The film also stars Deepika Padukone, Amitabh Bachchan and Kamal Haasan.

Prabhas recently shared his experience of working with Deepika Padukone. In an interview with Screen Rant, Prabhas heaped praise on his 'Kalki 2898 AD' co-star Deepika Padukone and said, “She's the biggest superstar, the most beautiful lady, and she's already famous globally. I think she's doing Louis Vuitton, TAM AdEX, and the biggest international commercials. So, she's just vibrant when she comes into the set, and I always loved her. I wanted to work with her, this is the first time I'm working with her, so yeah.”
