Ayesha Singh, Adnan Khan hint at the major twist that unfolds with Mannat's leap

Mannat Har Khushi Paane Ki is taking a powerful 7-year leap, starring Ayesha Singh and Adnan Khan as Mannat and Vikrant in a chapter where the past refuses to stay buried. Split apart by Aishwarya’s manipulation and Vikrant’s real mother, Vishakha’s lie that Mannat betrayed him, the two now live in separate worlds ruled by grief and deception. The leap promises an explosive reunion filled with unresolved pain, hidden truths, and a dangerous quest for justice. Upcoming twist in Mannat Seven years later, Mannat lives in Indore with Dhairya, raising Vikrant and her daughter Dua while she pursues the truth about her mother Shruti’s killer. Meanwhile, Vikrant remains trapped in a web of lies spun by his ex-wife Malla and Vishakha, believing he's found happiness with Yashika, his obsessive partner and little Yuvi, whom Malla introduces as her illegitimate son. When a high-stakes cooking competition forces Mannat and Vikrant to face off, long-buried secrets threaten to explode. Vikrant's new business partner Arzoo, enters as the story's ultimate wildcard, who harbours dangerous knowledge about Malla and Vishakha's darkest sins. The upcoming chapter explores the fragile line between love and vengeance. As Mannat and Vikrant's fractured worlds collide in the heat of competition, long-buried secrets threaten to surface. But when the truth finally emerges, will it cleanse the bad blood between them and give their lost love a second chance? Ayesha Singh and Adnan Khan share deets on the leap Ayesha Singh, reprising her role as Mannat, shared, “This leap in Mannat Har Khushi Paane Ki shows Mannat stepping into a new phase of life—confident, evolved, and fiercely independent. Being a mother has added a new layer to her strength and clarity, giving her a purpose that drives every choice she makes. She’s no longer the girl who let circumstances define her; she’s ready to take control of her own story. The leap becomes truly intense when Mannat comes face-to-face with Vikrant after 7 years. Old emotions resurface, unresolved truths come knocking, and the past collides with the present. This chapter brings together love, confrontation, and redemption, presenting Mannat as a woman who is bold, resilient, a mother to a beautiful daughter and unapologetically powerful.” Adnan Khan, diving deep into Vikrant's inner conflict, added, “The audience has been so invested in Mannat and Vikrant's journey, and I think they're going to be shocked by the twists that unfold in the leap. This seven-year leap takes Vikrant into a space where he’s living a life that looks complete from the outside but is built on half-truths and emotional compromises. He has been shaped by manipulation, by a betrayal he never questioned, and by a love he shut out without ever getting closure. Vikrant is confronted with truths that shake the foundation of everything he has believed for seven years. That emotional turbulence, that breaking of illusions, is what makes this chapter so powerful. Vikrant’s journey becomes about winning back the love that was taken from him without his knowledge.”

Ekta Kapoor

Ekta Kapoor discusses the leap in Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi 2

Television producer Ekta Kapoor has finally shared her perspective on the much-discussed leap in Star Plus’ most popular show, Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi, offering clarity on the creative intent behind the narrative shift. As one of Indian television’s most iconic shows undergoes a significant transition, Kapoor emphasises that the leap is rooted in emotional realism rather than dramatic finality. Ekta Kapoor shares the reason behind the leap According to Ekta Kapoor, the decision to introduce a leap was driven by the desire to reflect how relationships transform over time. Rather than treating the shift as an end to familiar journeys, she views it as a natural progression that mirrors real life, where bonds evolve, distance grows, and emotions take on new meanings. Sharing her thoughts, Ekta Kapoor said, “As a storyteller, for me, Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi has always meant exploring relationships as they grow, fracture, and transform with time. When I thought about bringing this leap into the narrative, the intention was never to close chapters, but to allow the story to breathe and evolve with its characters. I wanted to reflect the realities of long-term relationships—how love changes shape, how misunderstandings leave scars, and how emotional distance can quietly enter lives.” Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi has long been celebrated for redefining Indian television narratives, and the upcoming episodes promise a refreshed perspective without losing the essence that made the show a cultural phenomenon. Tune in to watch Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi from Monday-Friday at 10:30 PM, only on Star Plus. Ekta's post on why she brought back Kyunki A few months ago, Ekta Kapoor shared her reason behind bringing the show back. In a long post, she mentioned, "Why Kyunki, why now? When the 25th year of Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi was approaching and the idea of relaunching it surfaced, my first reaction was a firm no. Why would I want to shake up nostalgia? You can never compete with nostalgia. It always remains supreme. How I remember my childhood and how it really was, will always be different. Also, the television space has changed. Once dependent on 9 cities, audiences now consume content in fragments, scattered across platforms. Would this shake the legacy of Kyunki, the iconic TRP no one ever achieved before and after? But was that truly the legacy of the show? Was it just a show with high numbers? Research carried out by an international body once concluded that the show gave a voice to women in Indian homes. Between 2000 and 2005, for the first time, women began participating in family discussions, a shift deeply influenced by Indian television, especially Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi and Kahaani Ghar Ghar Ki."

Kyunki 2: Smriti Irani on Tulsi's transformation post leap in the show

The upcoming leap in Star Plus most loved show, Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi, promises to usher in one of the most emotionally charged phases in the show. As the narrative takes a dramatic turn, viewers will see Tulsi step into unfamiliar territory, away from her home, her family, and the man she has loved unconditionally. Sharing her thoughts on this pivotal development, Smriti Irani, who essays the role of Tulsi, reflected on the depth and complexity the leap brings to her character. Smriti Irani talks about the leap Speaking about Tulsi’s state of mind post-leap, Smriti said, “Portraying Tulsi in this phase of her life feels deeply personal because it reflects the lived experiences of many women I have encountered through my work over the years. After the leap, Tulsi is separated from what she once knew—Mihir, Shantiniketan, and the certainty of her world. Yet, her journey is not about bitterness or blame. It is about a woman learning to stand on her own emotional strength, navigating betrayal with dignity, and finding clarity in isolation. I see in Tulsi the quiet resilience of women who adapt, endure, and rebuild themselves when life takes unexpected turns. This chapter highlights that even in distance and silence, a woman’s strength, self-worth, and capacity to care do not diminish—they evolve.” Upcoming twist in Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi The leap marks a defining chapter for Tulsi, where emotional endurance takes precedence over familiar comforts. Torn between love, loss, and lingering questions, Tulsi’s journey highlights her inner resolve and moral strength, qualities that have made the character deeply relatable across generations. Rather than focusing on confrontation, the narrative explores introspection, emotional distance, and the evolving meaning of relationships. For Smriti Irani, this phase offers a layered portrayal of Tulsi, one that balances vulnerability with unwavering resilience. The storyline also raises compelling questions about trust, separation, and whether emotional bonds can withstand time and physical distance. In the recent episode, Smriti Irani and Gujarati actor Shruhad Goswami collaborated for an impactful scene on the show. Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi has been bringing some iconic celebs on the show. From Sakshi Tanwar, Bill Gates and now Shruhad on the show.

Surbhi Chandna reveals why she said no to Naagin 5 initially

Television actress Surbhi Chandna spoke about her journey with Naagin and revealed that the popular show was not an immediate yes for her. The idea for the film actually came to Dev Anand when he visited Kathmandu, Nepal and encountered hippies living there. Indian Idol airs on Sony Entertainment Television & Sony LIV. Talking about Zeenat, she established herself as one of the highest-paid actresses of her time. She began acting that same year, appearing in the films The Evil Within, Hungama and Hulchul. Reflecting on Mihir’s journey post-leap, the actor said, “When I found out about the leap, it genuinely shocked me, and I can say that the upcoming episodes are going to be very interesting. All of us caught up and spoke about the old times when we used to meet every day and shoot for the show. We are bringing back the same nostalgia with the second season and hoping that though it is a finite series, fans shower us with the same love." Akshay Kumar

Akshay Kumar to return to reality TV with popular jackpot show Wheel of Fortune

Sony Entertainment Television is preparing to introduce the iconic global reality game show Wheel of Fortune to Indian television and over-the-top (OTT) platforms, with Bollywood superstar Akshay Kumar as the host. The move follows Kaun Banega Crorepati's decades-long unrivalled success, which demonstrated Indian consumers' lasting affection for sophisticated, family-friendly game shows. Akshay Kumar returns to Reality TV According to Hindustan Times' industry sources, Sony has bought the Indian rights to Wheel of Fortune, one of the world's longest-running and most successful reality formats, and is planning a huge desi relaunch with high production standards, enormous rewards, and mass appeal, hosted by Akshay Kumar. The shoot begins in mid-January. For more than 20 years, Kaun Banega Crorepati has dominated Indian television, transforming it into a cultural phenomenon. It transformed prime-time viewing habits, introduced knowledge-based entertainment into Indian homes, and shown that people value aspirational yet relatable formats. Sony's plan to bring back Wheel of Fortune is being viewed as a strategic attempt to replicate the enchantment in a new, fast-paced, and universally trusted format. While KBC emphasises knowledge and life-changing jackpots, Wheel of Fortune features rapid winnings, word puzzles, luck, strategy, and instant pleasure. According to insiders, Sony sought a pan-India superstar presenter who could connect with both big cities and small towns, and Akshay Kumar was the right choice. This will be Akshay Kumar's comeback to mainstream television hosting following previous successful stints, and the channel is counting heavily on his keen wit, easy relationship with contestants, and ability to keep the show exciting without overpowering it. "A show like Wheel of Fortune requires a host who is approachable, kind, and lively. According to a production insider, Akshay ticks all the requirements. All about Wheel of Fortune Wheel of Fortune, which debuted in the United States in the 1970s, is one of the most iconic television formats of all time, having been copied in over 60 nations. Sony intends to keep the main international structure while injecting it with Indian flavour, such as Hindi and regional words, Indian cultural references, and special celebrity episodes. The concert is expected to air on Sony TV and SonyLIV simultaneously, providing huge exposure across both television and digital platforms. According to sources, Sony is developing a visually stunning set complete with a larger-than-life wheel, colourful lighting, and immersive sound design. Prize money, sponsor tie-ins, and Christmas specialities are all expected to be big draws. Similar to KBC, the show would purportedly focus on regular Indians with amazing experiences, with an emotional connection at the forefront.

"They should stay alert," she stated, emphasising the importance of awareness and strong limits. Malti recalled the precise occurrence with the filmmaker, revealing that she used to meet him frequently for a project. When the work was finished, she hugged him from the side as a nice gesture. "In return, he tried to kiss me on the lips," she said. Malti described her reaction as "completely stunned." "I froze." I couldn't fathom what had just happened. "I immediately stopped him and never saw him again," she remembered. She mentioned that the man was significantly older and someone she admired greatly. "I viewed him as a father figure.
