The actor’s team later shared a statement calling her a fame digger. While netizens pointed out how they parted ways in 2020 and now she is hurling accusations at him, Akanksha has issued a statement clarifying that they actually parted ways in 2023. The statement also comes days after Salman Khan hinted at her entry as a wildcard.
Akanksha Jindal on separation from Abhishek
Many believed that Abhishek and Akanksha had separated almost six years ago. However, Akanksha has now clarified that their actual separation took place on August 18, 2023. In a statement shared online, she wrote: “For those saying I ‘came after six years’ — please, get your facts right. We parted ways on August 18, 2023. You asked for the truth, I gave it. Now suddenly I’m the problem? If only you knew the full story, you wouldn’t mock… you’d understand. Truth doesn’t shake the innocent — only the guilty feel threatened.”
Her statement comes right after last weekend’s Weekend Ka Vaar episode, where host Salman hinted to Abhishek in front of all housemates that his ex-wife might be speaking about him outside.

During the latest Weekend Ka Vaar episode, aired on October 25, Salman Khan was seen slamming Malti once again for her revelations about the outside world. The host said, “Another wildcard is about to enter. Whoever comes in, whether male or female, will bring a lot of drama with them.” He stated how social media can be ruthless and that the audience is curious to know about others’ lives.
Then, Salman made a cryptic remark, saying, “There are wives, and there are ex-wives too. So when you reach a certain level of fame and they don’t, then in order to come back into the limelight, they will either praise you or open up dangerous boxes of dark secrets, which are now being opened.” Pointing at Abhishek, he added, “Right, Abhishek? Everyone’s past, good and bad, eventually comes out. So all of you should remember, just as you are interested in Tanya’s information, others are equally interested in hearing yours.”
Later, Abhishek and Ashnoor were seen discussing Salman Khan’s remark about the “ex-wife.” Ashnoor asked Abhishek Bajaj whether he has a PR team outside, to which he replied, “Yes.” She then told him, “Bas phir, kya stress hai. Aapki PR team hai bahar, your family is outside. Relax, relax.” Abhishek then asked her, “Woh yahan toh nahi aayegi? (She won’t be coming here, will she?),” to which Ashnoor replied no. She asked, “Is she an actor?” Before Abhishek could react, Bigg Boss asked Ashnoor to wear her mic properly.
