Sudhanshu Pandey revealed that he was shocked when he heard the news about Pankaj Dheer's demise. He shared, "I couldn't believe that someone like Pankaj Dheer passed away. He was a lively person. His personality, voice, sense of humour and the love and affection he would shower upon all of us."

Sudhanshu recalled his first show as an actor, and his first co-star was Pankaj Dheer, the late actor played his father in the show Beta. He said, "I had a great time working with Pankaj ji. My first ever show that I did in my acting career was with him. It was called Beta for B.R. Chopra, and he played my father. We shared a fantastic equation. He used to love me and would call me Beta. Both of us enjoyed working together. In those early days, while we were all young, we would do a lot of arm wrestling, and he often praised my dedication towards fitness."

Sudhanshu Pandey on sharing his bond with Pankaj

On sharing about his bond, Sudhanshu quipped, "It was Fantastic. Yes, I think because it was my first show and the kind of bond that I had with him was so original and beautiful that every time we would meet, we would catch up on life and share our experiences with each other. I still can't believe that I'm talking about him in the past tense."

Pankaj Dheer battled cancer before his demise; however, when asked Sudhanshu Pandey whether he knew about Pankaj's battle he said, "No, he had mentioned this at some point when we had met, and then he said that he was okay. I didn't know that it was for so long. Lots of them, and I think I would cherish every moment that I have spent with him, all the bonds, the jokes that I've shared with him. Everything has turned into a beautiful memory now."
