Vahbiz Dorabjee has been currently enjoying her life beyond TV screens. The actress was last seen in Deewaniyat. In an exclusive chat, the actress recalls her debut show Panchi Dobriyal, shared her take on fame with TV and more.
On how the year 2025 has been scary for all
Vahbiz shared, "I do believe that 2025 has been a scary year. The number of losses, mishaps and calamities that have happened is quite scary. We were all optimistic when the year began, as we took it as a new beginning. However, it has been absolutely scary and disastrous. I feel like we are literally living on the edge. It has been so unpredictable. Everything is so uncertain at this time. It feels like any step you take, maybe even walking on the road or taking a flight, anything can happen anytime."
Vahbiz's take on the TV Industry these days
The actress shared her take on the TV Industry these days, "I do miss the TV days; it had its own era when it was larger than life. The largest medium earlier was television. Today, the audience and its content are divided. There are so many options on what to watch and what not to. That is also one of the reasons why these days actors aren't receiving that kind of stardom. Earlier, TV actors were real stars; nowadays, very few people are actually going to the theatre, and there aren't any blockbuster films. It is a low phase for the Industry. Meanwhile, OTT has been booming, and I would love to do some OTT shows."
She further added, "If I had to change something about myself, I have time and again mentioned that I have to stop trusting people so much. There have been a lot of times that I have been backstabbed and broken my heart into a billion pieces. Every time, it isn't easy to rebuild yourself and trust someone again. It puts me in a shell."
As the shows are returning, Vahbiz shared her favourite show from the previous projects she did, "Out of all the shows I did, my first show Panchi Dobriyal, will be close to my heart. That show was iconic; it was young and youthful. Also, the character was really nice, it was tailor-made for me, and I think I would love to re-live that character and show. It is one of my favourite shows."
