The sudden death of veteran actor Satish Shah at the age of 74 has shocked the whole entertainment world. He died on Saturday afternoon, October 25, at Mumbai's Hinduja Hospital from kidney failure. Satish's close buddy, actor Rakesh Bedi, posted a video on his social media account commemorating his 'dearest' friend.
Rakesh Bedi took to his Instagram handle to share his heartfelt "Actually, I don’t know how to say this, friends. I am feeling very emotional. In fact, I am finding it difficult to even talk. My dearest friend, Satish Shah, was my batchmate at FTII, my classmate."
He added, "We did so many films together. He is no more. Today, he passed away. The emotions I am feeling… it’s very difficult to say how to put it in words. I just don’t know. One of the saddest days of my life, today. Satish Shah, I loved him a lot. Rest in peace, bro."
Yeh Jo Hai Zindagi premiered on DD National in 1984. It starred Rakesh Bedi, Satish Shah, Swaroop Sampat, Shafi Inamdar, and others. Rakesh Bedi and Staish Shah also collaborated on the 1994 film Teesra Kaun, among others.
