Bigg Boss 13 Week 13: Salman Khan cleans inmates' utensils; Rashami Desai snaps ties with Arti Singh
While the last week was all about heated arguments, accusations, and fights, this week the contestants tried hard to sort their issues. The highlight of the week was the ugly fight between Rashami Desai and Sidharth Shukla. From dragging their past to going extremely personal, the duo threw vile acquisitions on one another.
The first day of the 13th week began with a big fight between Sidharth and Shehnaaz. Shehnaaz (again) felt insecure after she spotted Sidharth speaking to Mahira and Paras. She lost her temper and raised her voice on Sidharth which he didn't appreciate and began maintaining a distance.
Madhurima Tuli too managed to shift the spotlight on her (for all the wrong reasons). Madhurima refused to perform her duty of washing vessels expressing that she was in no mood to fulfil her duties.
The next day, Mahira Sharma also refused to perform her breakfast duty. This motivated Madhurima, who followed her footsteps. Her reason: If Mahira can give up on her duty, even she can.
Later in the day, the captaincy task was announced and the housemates were taken on an expedition to Mars.
The housemates were divided into scientists and robots and pairs were created with one each in the group. The scientists were in charge of the robots with full control and had to keep them tied up with a rope if they want to be in the race of captaincy.
The task began on a competitive note and the robots were seen filling the water with complete honesty till Mahira spilled the water in Vishal and Asim's container. The game changed when Vishal and Asim activated the destructive mode of the task. A tiff between Vikas and Paras made the game even more difficult when none of the scientists agreed to set their robots free.
On the other hand, Rashami expressed her disappointment with Arti for not taking a stand for her during the task and got into a huge fight with her. Later she decided to break all ties and her friendship with Arti.
Amid all the tensions and temper in the house, Bigg Boss decided to lighten up the atmosphere and to bring in some sanity by bringing in Sunil Grover in the house. He (or she?) put up a hilarious show which took the contestants on a laughing roller coaster.
The joy for the contestants continued the next day when Bigg Boss invited special guests Jai Bhanushali, Arjun Bijlani, Rubina Dilaik, Nimrit Kaur and Jasmine Bhasin entered the house to celebrate Christmas with the contestants.
The newly arrived guests had a joyful time with the contestants. The inmates too left behind their fights and misunderstandings......because its Christmas Time!
The contestants tried their best to treat the guest with the best Chinese delicacies. This was the part of their second task of the week in which they had to run a Chinese stall while feeding the guests. The team that makes the maximum profit will win the task.
The night come to an end with a special party arranged for the housemates to celebrate the festival. Since it was also Jay's birthday, it turned into a double celebration and the housemates sang a birthday song for him.
The next day, the winning team received a very special gift. Two Dabbawalas entered the Bigg Boss house and delivered a box full of food sent by the contestant's family members. It was an emotional moment for the contestants, who got a taste of their favourite food after month.
The moment got much sweeter when the winning team shared their tiffin with all other housemates, keeping aside all the fights and differences. The entire house coming together to feed each other some yummy delicacies is definitely warmer for us looking at the fights and abuses the house has seen.
But it's the Bigg Boss house, and here nothing comes sweeter. The happy moments was short-lived when Bigg Boss announced the captaincy task for Shehnaaz and Vishal. The contenders were given a "thought" which the housemates had to convert it into reality. The duo was given only a certain amount of time to convince the housemates.
But it seems, the contestants had decided to throw away their differences and play like a team, even if that meant "destroying your personal belongings". Rashami was asked to destroy her family photo and with a heavy heart, she kept her friendship first and destroyed it for Vishal.
Asim too, without giving a second thought, gave up his favourite gym belt for Shehnaaz as payback for making him the captain previous week.
The next morning turned troublesome for Shehnaaz who faced a rebellion from Madhurima. The latter refused to perform her duty of washing vessels (again). The two had a tiff with Madhurima telling Shehnaaz that she will make sure that Shehnaaz doesn’t succeed in her captainship. Rashami added fuel to the fire by saying Shehnaaz was behaving more like a watchman than a captain.
The weekend brought a surprise for the housemates when director Rohit Shetty entered the troubled house. He asked all the contestants to leave the room and sat down to talk to Sidharth and Asim who had engaged in a heated argument earlier regarding a simple household chore.
Rohit asked Sidharth why he gets so angry. He reminded the two about their friendship. During the chat, Sidharth ended up crying. It seems, all well's All's Well That Ends Well.
With inmates regularly fighting over-performing their duties, host Salman Khan took it upon himself and to teach them a lesson.
Salman entered the house armed with cleaning equipment and started washing utensils, followed by cleaning the fridge and the gas area. Locked inside the bedroom, the contestants were in an absolute shock locking at the actor performing their duties.
From unclogging the sewage hole to cleaning the storage area, Salman picked all the rubbish leaving housemates embarrassed and humiliated. Giving the contestants a warning, Salman said he will not tolerate the sight of an untidy house and people living in the house not caring about it.
