Kick-starting the season on a high note, the streaming platform promises a massive content line-up covering different genres and languages. Be it horror, thriller, drama, action… there’s endless choice for its loyal audience. 


Udanpirappe   (14th October, 2021)


This upcoming Tamil movie is a treat to viewers’ eyes. If you are a fan of talented & vivacious Jyotika, you are bound to enjoy the actor's 50th film. Udanpirappe means sibling, and this movie is a love-hate relationship between a brother and sister. This movie is directed by Era Sarvanan, produced by Suriya, under his production banner, 2D entertainment. The film also stars Sasikumar, Soori and Kalaiyarasan in pivotal roles.


Sardar Udham (16th October)

The movie salutes one of India’s greatest martyrs, Sardar Udham Singh. His extraordinary journey of courage, passion and zeal is an inspiration to today’s generation. Helmed by Shoojit Sircar (of Piku fame), the movie features one of the finest stars in the Hindi film industry, Vicky Kaushal in the lead role. Releasing on Dussehra, October 16, exclusively on Amazon Prime Video, this film will touch your patriotic fervor.

Bhramam

Directed by cinematographer, Ravi K Chandran, this Malayalam rendition of Andhadhun is produced under the banner of AP International and Viacom18 Studios. A murder mystery, the film dwells on the life of a pianist who pretends to be blind. Interlaced with suspense, confusion and drama, the pianist is shown getting embroiled in a mysterious murder. As the plot thickens a set of bizarre events unfold thus keeping the audience glued to the seats. The background is score by musician Jakes Bejoy. The film features Prithviraj Sukumaran in the lead, along with an ensemble of talented actors including Unni Mukundan, Raashi Khanna, Sudheer Karamana and Mamta Mohandas in key roles.

Dybbuk

This is an official remake of hit Malayalam Horror film titled Ezra. Set against the picturesque backdrop of Mauritius, the film chronicles the horrifying incidents that take place on a haunted house. Directed by Jay Krishnan, the movie features Emraan Hashmi, Nikita Dutta, Manav Kaul, among others. Dybbuk revolves around a couple – Mahi and Sam, who begins to experience paranormal activities at home. The couple then seeks the help of a Rabbi to unravel the mystery. Will they survive this ordeal before their child is born?

Justin Bieber: Our World

This documentary offers an inward look into the life of the global music sensation Justin Bieber. It takes viewers backstage, onstage and into the private world of the global superstar as he prepares for a record-breaking New Year’s Eve 2020 concert. After a three-year hiatus, from full concerts, Bieber delivers an electrifying performance on the rooftop of the Beverly Hilton Hotel for 240 invited guests and millions of fans across the globe watching via livestream. Produced and directed by award-winning filmmaker Michael D Ratner, the 94-minute-long documentary follows & captures Bieber and his team for the month leading up to the show. The film also captures personal self-shot moments of Bieber and his wife Hailey Bieber.

Maradona: Blessed Dream

A wonderful delight to all the football fans in India, Maradona: Blessed Dream, is a biographical drama which stars Nazareno Casero (Historia de un Clan), Juan Palomino (Magnifica 70) and Nicolas Goldschmidt (Supermax) portraying Diego Armando Maradona through different stages of his life. The biopic also dubbed in 5 Indian languages—Hindi, Tamil, Telegu, Bengali,& Malayalam,  follows the triumphs and challenges of the legendry soccer player, Diego Armando Maradona, from his humble beginnings in Argentina, to his game- changing career through Barcelona and Napoli, and his role in taking his national team to win the World Cup in Mexico in ’86.
