The award-winning French artist-photographer has created site-specific works in Mumbai. Aimed towards a charitable cause, Rousse has teamed up with young artists at the Apnalaya Shivaji Nagar centre at Tardeo for the same. As the five-work series is on sale, all proceeds will be dedicated to the cause of the NGO, Apnalaya Foundation.

Rousse is known to compose his photographs by playing with all aspects of space and creating illusions with volume and depth by sparing no facet, be it the floor or the ceiling. Given that Apnalaya Foundation has been working towards the betterment of Mumbai’s slum communities since 1973, this is one collection that will bring up a smile, each time.
