This Sunday, relive the magic of Woody Allen and Amrita Pritam at Aamad, a quaint performing arts and wellness studio in Andheri.
A play titled, Some Raw Love, will witness artiste Akriti Singh perform solo pieces based on a few love stories penned by the icons.

"Though both writers talk about relationships, Allen’s stories are funny and contemporary while Amrita Pritam infuses an old-world charm in hers," says the 27-year-old theatre actor-director.

From the American filmmaker and playwright’s repertoire, Singh has chosen the 1972 humour piece, Examining Psychic Phenomena and Fabulous Tales & Mythical Beasts.

Meanwhile, Pritam’s Junglee Booti, about an innocent girl who falls in love with a Chowkidar and Shah Ki Kanjari about a moment in the life of two women, a wife and a mistress, will make it to the stage.
