Bandland 2026 music festival returns to touch the very soul of music enthusiasts across India, bringing fans back to where they truly belong, for its third edition on February 14 and 15 in 2026, at NICE Grounds in Bengaluru.

Ever since it started out, the music festival has grown from a celebration of bands into a full-fledged cultural movement.

After a trailblazing 2024 edition, which saw international giants share the stage with India’s fiercest acts, Bandland 2026 aims to raise the bar even higher with a lineup led by two of the most iconic names in modern music making their India debut: undoubtedly one of Britain's biggest rock exports, Muse and the globally-acclaimed pop-rock band, Train.

Naman Pugalia, chief business officer - Live Events, with the ticketing platform, said, “With Bandland, we set out to create more than a festival - we wanted to build a cultural space where people could rediscover what rock truly stands for. Over the last few years, we’ve seen generations converge here, young fans discovering the sound of raw guitars and live energy for the first time, while others return to the music that shaped who they are. It’s been heartening to see this appetite for live rock evolve into something larger, a shared sense of belonging that stretches across age-groups, sounds and stories. This year, as Bandland grows beyond Bengaluru with Bandland on Tour, we’re not just scaling an IP, we’re expanding a home for everyone who finds a part of themselves in this music.”

From the quiet corners of Devon to the world’s grandest arenas, Muse has redefined the sound and spectacle of rock. With anthems like ‘Uprising’, ‘Starlight’ and ‘Knights of Cydonia’, the band fuses symphonic ambition, electronic chaos and cinematic storytelling into electrifying performances that transcend music itself. Known for its stadium-shaking visuals and explosive energy, Muse’s India debut promises to be an unmissable spectacle of rebellion and revelation.

Sharing the spotlight is the Grammy-winning legendary pop-rock band, Train, whose timeless hits ‘Drops of Jupiter (Tell Me)’, ‘Hey, Soul Sister’ and ‘Drive By’ have soundtracked lives across generations. With over 30 million tracks sold worldwide, Train brings their soulful melodies, magnetic stagecraft and arena-sized charm for the first time to India at Bandland 2026, ensuring a set filled with both nostalgia and euphoria.

Joining them are Australia’s progressive rock titans Karnivool as the band returns to India, delivering music that has defined their legacy with albums such as ‘Themata’, ‘Sound Awake’ and ‘Asymmetry’ as they release their newest album, In Verses, a week before Bandland 2026.

Pioneers of the self-described genre “Scribecore”, Scribe a no-holds-barred blend of modern metal and hardcore that’s entirely their own will bring their fire to Bandland. Their breakout track ‘Dum Hai Toh Aage Aah’ earned an MTV VMA nomination in Belfast, while their album Mark of Teja swept six Rolling Stone Metal Awards and landed them the magazine’s first-ever metal cover in India.

Girish and the Chronicles, GATC, is heavily influenced by classic rock and metal bands of the 1970s and 1980s, calling Led Zeppelin, AC/DC, Deep Purple, Iron Maiden, Black Sabbath and Guns N' Roses their inspirations, having opened the show for legendary Guns N’ Roses in Mumbai this May.

The lineup also celebrates the new guard of global rock, Pinkshift, the Baltimore trio redefining modern rock with their fiery fusion of punk, emo and grunge, channeling raw emotion into anthems that feel both nostalgic and revolutionary.

Cardiff’s thriving underground, James and the Cold Gun will bring their raw, high-voltage live shows and anthems that hit as hard as they feel. Their music blends jagged riffs, soaring hooks and unflinching honesty while channeling heartbreak, defiance and resilience into songs that refuse to stay quiet.

Adding to the mix are The Sophs, an LA-based rising six-piece, bringing a fearless, collaborative spirit with breakout hits like ‘Death in the Family’ and The Thing, New York’s loudest love letter to old-school garage rock.

Bandland 2026 will also spotlight some of the country’s most dynamic voices - artists redefining what it means to create music that is deeply local yet boundlessly global. Taking center stage to represent India’s vibrant indie spirit are Sen, Mali, Tejas, Sahil x Tariq Vasudeva, The Lightyears Explode and Komodo Jane.

This year, Bandland will come alive across two stages, ignited by unfiltered energy and powerful performances from extraordinary artists. Each act brings an authentic expression of music’s true essence from the first guitar strum to the final encore.

Bandland enters a new phase this year, extending its footprint across India. Scaling beyond the two-day festival, ‘Bandland on Tour’, an all-new extension of the property, will bring marquee acts to new stages and expand a community that has found its tribe in distortion, melody and mosh pits.

The first act under this banner is Tom Morello, who will perform in Gurugram (December 17th, HUDA Gymkhana), Mumbai (December 19, MMRDA G-Txt Grounds) and Bengaluru (December 21, Phoenix Marketcity, Whitefield), with many more genre-defining acts yet to come.

Produced and promoted by BookMyShow Live, the music festival is the rock and alternative music Intellectual Property (IP) of the live entertainment experiential division of the ticketing platform.

The Pre-Sale of tickets for the festival will go live at 12 noon on October 15 while General On-Sale of tickets will go live at 1 pm on October 17 exclusively on BookMyShow.
